sugardash USB update

Use this page if sugardash support asked you to update with a USB cable. You do not need the phone app or the device's Wi-Fi menu.

When your browser asks, choose the USB device named USB JTAG/serial debug unit.

On a Mac, the name may include cu.usbmodem. On Windows, the name may include COM. If more than one choice appears, unplug sugardash, click Cancel, plug it back in, and choose the new item that appears.

Open this link in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a Mac or Windows computer. This page needs the secure link from sugardash support.
  1. Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a Mac or Windows computer.
  2. Plug sugardash into the computer with a USB data cable. Some cables only charge and will not work for this.
  3. Click Start Update.
  4. When your browser asks which device to use, choose USB JTAG/serial debug unit. On Mac it may include cu.usbmodem; on Windows it may include COM.
  5. Keep sugardash plugged in until the page says the update is finished.
  6. If no device appears, try another cable or USB port and then click Start Update again.
